Farewell to AutoCAD...
After more than 20 years, Autodesk has opted to not renew our AutoCAD reseller contract. We will stop selling AutoCAD as of February 1, 2006.
What does this mean to our AutoCAD customers?
We will sell AutoCAD in the Seattle area through the end of this month.
We will provide AutoCAD support through the end of 2006.
Our AutoCAD training is still available.
We are continuing to develop, sell, and support AccuRender for AutoCAD. More details...
Blocks and Materials for AccuRender is still available.
What does this mean to us?
Since our Rhino related business has grown to be more than ten times larger than our AutoCAD related business, the AutoCAD business will be missed but not uncomfortable.
While we are disappointed, we are also grateful for the opportunity that Autodesk has provided us over the past 20 years. It has been a profitable and exceptionally educational experience.
Of course, most of the credit for our success goes to you. We are very grateful for the opportunities you have given us to be involved in your work and adventures. Thank you!
We will now focus all of our resources on our worldwide Rhino-related business. This includes:
Supporting the 150,000+ Rhino users, the 3,000+ Rhino developers, and the 750+ Rhino resellers.
Developing the next versions of Rhino, Flamingo, Penguin, and Bongo.
Developing new Rhino-related products including Toucan and Brazil for Rhino.
We are looking forward to working with you on many challenging design, engineering, fabrication, and manufacturing projects using Rhino's advanced technology.
What should you do now?
If you are in the Seattle area, order any AutoCAD or AutoCAD upgrades you need from us before January 25, 2006. We still have great prices and support is included for one year.
Consider purchasing Rhino ($895).

ist das eine Verarschung? Rhino 3D kaufen statt AutoCAD? da werden sich viele Büros freuen...
